HOW WE WORK
About Us
Community Powered Recycling Initiative
Yosh Recycle is a grassroots initiative based in Lagos, Nigeria. We make recycling simple and community powered by distributing branded bags for clean bottle collection at source. No more buying dirty plastics we empower households and small businesses to become part of the circular economy.
Processes
Our Recycling Approach
01
Distribute Recycle Bags
We provide branded bags to homes, schools, and small businesses to facilitate clean bottle collection.
02
Collect Clean Bottles at Source
We organize scheduled pickups to collect clean bottles directly from our community partners.
03
Sell to Local Recyclers
We partner with local recycling facilities to ensure bottles are properly processed and reused.
04
Community Education
We provide education on sustainability and environmental awareness to create lasting change.
Why It Matters
Plastic pollution is choking our streets, drains, and waterways. Lagos produces over 13,000 tonnes of waste daily with only a small portion recycled.
At Yosh Recycle, we:
Reduce street and waterway pollution
Support green jobs for women and youth
Create habits that last generations
We collect & recycle all Plastic type #1 -PETE (Polyethylene Teraphthalate)
